I was born in the month of September and Zebulun is the corressponding tribe of judah for that month. Sunbeam is from the christian song "I'll be a sunbeam" or if you remember the nirvana song "Jesus don't want me for a sunbeam".

In college we were joking around about what our names were spelled backwards. So my last name backwards was rellim. Later when trying to use that on some groups, "rellim" was already taken, hence "realrellim."

My name comes from the star Belltrix in the constelaltion Orion. It is one of orion's shoulders(westernor right),the other one being Betelguese.Which is not such a cute name.
The name Bellatrix translates to Female Warrior and is called the Amazon star.
It is not from the character in Harry Potter although she is ok.
I am more interested in the astronomy side of the name.
Since I've been called a space cadet I figured I might learn while I was up there, lol!

i find a lot of people brush me off once they find i'm a mom (just a mom - not even a SAHM - how do you ladies deal?) but i am so much more than that. so even though we all know that being a mom is the most excellent and hardest job/role/gift in the world i decided to use people's indifference as a mask for all my rabble-rousing antics.

motherhood is my own secret identity.

One of my dd's favorite books is "Is Your Mama a Llama" and I liked the sound of mama a llama. Shouldn't have used the dashes, maybe--it's hard to type.

My name is papayapetunia because my daughter's name is Tania and we call her "Tania Papaya" (it rhymes, in case you're confused as to how Tania should be pronounced) and her new little sister (due June 23rd) will be named Talula and we call her "Talula Petunia."

Well, nyonya in malay means Mrs. Since I came from Singapore with a Malay-Chinese cultural background, they would call me either Nyonya (in Malay) or Tai-tai (in Chinese). Why did I choose Nyonya instead of Tai-tai, because it just sounds better.

I am a new mother. I have a one year old daughter and as a new mother I have so many questions. So, I decided to join in right now. Why so late? Well, I have been very busy in the past months. I never thought that having a baby is a lot of work. So, I need help in certain areas. I hope I can learn from your experiences. I am glad to meet you all.

Cheers,
Nyonya

I am very new to this site and to motherhood. Just became a mom 2 weeks ago to my little man Robert and I just joined this site today. It was either that or take a nap
My user name 'bae' is what i call my son sometimes-it means inspiration and he truly is mine.
i enjoyed reading other peoples reasons and having a site like this that encourages me to raise my baby naturally and instictually.
Raven, my best friend just moved to cape town and i miss her desperately...

What does your username mean? How did you come up with it?

My family and I are big outdoor lovers. One of our daughters is even nicknamed "bug" after her infatuation with the creepy crawly creatures outside - LOL

So, outdoorlove just seemed good. I could have gone with LoveOutdoors but I like to do things backwards.

Well I tried for my real name but it was taken so...travelinmom, mother of three and we sold our house and bought a trailer, now we follow my dh on his job rather than waiting at home for him and only seeing him once every two weeks. It's tight and cozy but works for us.

wfg shall remain my mystery...but it was a nickname of mine on the chat havens of old....from when the world wide web was still young and chatting was done in unix based text programs, rather than yahoo. It evolved from other nicknames I had and is actually an abbreviation of one of those nicknames.

My husband's nickname for me is Curly. When I joined bookcrossing more than a few years ago, Curly was already taken so I picked Curlita. And I've been using that as my online name in communities ever since.

Before we were married, my dw informed me that I am a monster -- big, fuzzy, messy, simple. Probably some other reasons, too. The children are growing up knowing that they are part monster (we're not sure if all children are monsters, or monsters are just grown children). So, I am, now, on all forums and discussion groups, simply Monsterboy.

(edited for typo right after posting... )
