I picked mine a little too quickly and feel I've outgrown it. But anyway...

Arboria Moon is the name of a half-elf outcast I was playing in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign wayyyyyyyyy back. "Arboria" more or less means "of the trees". Guess it was the first thing that came to mind!

Syrinx, Soulmate to Pan, Mama to Zion (5), River (3), Silver (1) and expecting a baby Storm...

Unimatrix0 is from Star Trek: Voyager. It was an episode about the borg and how some of them found a place where they were free and could be their old selves during a regeneration cycle. The place was called unimatrix 0.

I figured I'd jump in with my explanation by way of introducing myself (I've been lurking here for several weeks). Mine is from Virginia Woolf's Mrs. Dalloway; Clarissa is walking about and hears Big Ben ringing (phallic, regimented, standard, dominating) and then hears the bells of St. Margaret's ringing a bit late, like a woman moving in her own natural, feminine, human, organic way. I chose the name years ago for a reading/writing board I frequent, and I use it pretty much everywhere online now.

I chose this name cuz thats what I'm doin'. LOVING IT!! Being a mama is fabulous. I think we all our loving it, that's why we are all here. Connecting, reconnecting. Sharing, laughing, loving and crying- that's what it's all about!

Being a parent feels like when I first wake up from an awesome dream. I am still asleep enough to remember how good the dream felt, but I'm awake enough to appreciate it.

I know y'all are LOVIN' IT too!

It's cool I found this place, but I think it's gonna take me awhile to figure out all the lingo. :
But I did find some stuff that applies to me and mine

Pretty self-explanatory really. I'm Australian. I wear my babies and mother as mindfully as I can. My non-babywearing friends compare me to a mother koala so that's how I became m*m. I notice I'm not the only one so things could get a bit confusing around here...

Lovin' It - I just adore your username! Makes me smile every time I see it.

I picked mine from what my family has called me for YEARS. My nickname is Missy and I became an aunt at 2 years old (I have much older brothers and sisters). I am now an Aunt to 16 neices and nephews (whew!) and I've always been their favorite "Aunt Missy"

Mama to DS (5/13/02) and DD (7/13/10)

My username is a play on what DH and I called our first together. (Not my first, but our first)
We used to call Grace, her nibs. Example, "Her nibs is crying, would you get her so I could feed her, please?" It went from her nibs, to just plain nibsie.

When my son was a newborn, we joked that he pooted a lot, so we started calling him Poot. Then it evolved into Paddy Poot, Pooticus, and more LOL. I am pregnant again, and my DH has started calling me Mama Poot, so that's where I got my username

Tigerlillies are my favorite flowers. I like that dh can bring me a whole bouquet of them anytime he wants all summer long for free if he just stops by the side of the road and slogs through a ditch.

I choose mine because I long for the simple life. It is was I am seeking daily, if even at a slow pace. I had wanted 'seeking simple life' but I think it was taken or too long or something like that. It just says who I am and what my goal is.

Julie - simple life

Julie ~ homesteading, Traditional Catholic, wife to Chip, mom to Angelbaby(4-06), DS (3-07), and DD (11-09).

Well the storm part is because I live near the Coast and storms are pretty much part of my life and the chaser part is because I am always tracking them. The al stands for where I live. At least the State.

My user name is what my kids call me when tehy get mad

I used to be known as Insane Preschool Mom but now my kids are growing older, and I thought it would be good to get rid of the "preschool" part of the name before I got too attached to it.

I love sailboats, and although I have never been sailing ... I hope to experience it one day. I'd love to take a year and sail around the world. Just seems like it would be such a fantastic experience.
