I know this is more for discussion of activism, but I am going to say hi here.
I am a 25 yo womyn from SD. I came here looking for like-minded mama's and papa's interested in radical politics and working towards change. My main focus points include anti-sweatshop, anti-slave labor (chocolate and other goods), child trafficing, organic and fair trade products, feminism, veganism (animal liberation, diet, anti-vivisection, etc), urban gardening, neo-colonialism, anti-war, anti-occupation, pro-dumpster diving, food not bombs, etc etc.
I really want to branch out and meet other parents... if any of this is something they think is important... share ideas on what they do in their community... created any mama orgs? I've been feeling a little out of the loop since becoming preggers. The activist community in my town in more centered toward non-parents.
Hope to hear from some people soon!
Smooches and Solidarity,
