So, for whoever checks out my recent post activity, the next 40 or so posts will be lots of "I agree" so that I can fully participate in the boards as opposed to watching on the sidelines. Dumb but true. I promise that after I reach 50, my posts will be rare and meaningful. And I do mean rare, since I tend to lurk.

My philosophy is that most children end up ok, despite what we do and do not do to/for them. Otherwise, I'd rather not say.

Trust me, I've already been bashed for even IMPLYING that vaccination may not be of the devil.

you only need 50 posts to get into the TP and TAO.... It doesn't seem like you can "educate" any of us there so you should be all set.

You've reached your goal!

In love with Dh since 1998. We created Ds (7.1.03), Dd (10.16.06) and Dd (3.16.09).

Welcome! I hope you'll post some pictures over in the sewing forum of the butt sweaters you are making. I love to see the things that people sew.

So *that's* how you get to 50, and here i am stressing about trying to add meaningful posts. I never thought about the whole 'i agree' thing..... Thanks!!! (no i wasn't being snarky)

wife to DH, Mama to DS "Bug" (09/07), and DD "Sprout" (01/11).

and I didn't know there was a number of posts rule!!!

I'm the resident airhead!!!

I feel vaccs are not of the devil, whopping cough has come back to Vermont with a vengence because people weren't vaccinating, the elderly generation, who weren't immunized back then, are now catching it in droves and dying. There is probably some cold hearts that think well they have to die of something but I personally think the benefits outweigh the costs and well..this'll probably be deleted now......

I haven't heard about this and I don't see it on the stats websites, either. Any source?

And don't worry Aeriane, I'm sure your post won't disappear. (I'd complain if it did.)

(PS: I was supposedly vaccinated for this and got it a few years ago. It is much less severe for an adult than for an infant.)

There is a 50 posts/60 day rule to 'unlock' some of the boards. You can read some of the postings on the Question/Suggestions Forum for more info.

Really? There are boards that are "locked" to newbies? Weird. Reminds my of my dhs nintendo games. You have to play a certain amount of time and get through certain screens before you can unlock new stuff. LOL! OK, so I better post more... Are these special locked areas so great??? Gonna have to check out that info you mentioned.
