dear lianghongyan,

I only speak a few words. We have friends from China, and their young daughter teaches my daughter some words when they play together. I would like to learn more!

Welcome to you, from the other side of the world!

There are few Chinese in my community. I did know many when I attended the university in British Columbia.

Ni hao!

I'm part Chinese, my mom was born in China but was sold at the age of two where she was raised in Japan, but it's my heart's dream to go to China some day.

Can't speak Chinese, but am learning. :-)

I'm new here too, but I just had to welcome you. Look forward to getting to know you better.

Demian,
~DreamSinger

Welcome!! It's so exciting to have moms from China.

I googled Chongqing, and it's a beautiful city.

Your English is good, too.

I'm glad your daughter is bringing you so much happiness. I think it's fantastic that being moms can bring so many women together.

I hope you enjoy our community.

My husband and I lived in CQ for 3 years...taught at a University in Nanshan. At the time it was called Chongqing University of Post and Telecom, but I think they changed the name recently. We just heard from friends there that there's a Starbucks now in ShaPingBa. We also have some American friends here who are about to go back to CQ in a couple of weeks; they have a 1-year-old daughter.

We speak a little bit of Chongqing hua

Welcome to MDC!
