to pull dd out and homeschool. So, thanks for letting me hang out on this board while making our decision. I hope this works out really well for us.

I am not sure what I will do for curriculum yet. . . she is in 3rd, but academically ready for 4th (at least). I think I might just go on a whim for a while with a few workbooks just to see exactly what she knows. Then, maybe I will know what to do. I really want a literature enriched curriculum. But, dd is really strong in math so I don't want a program that makes an art out of repetition--some is great, but she catches on quickly.

Is there a place where homeschooler sell used curriculum?

Congrats on your decision. We have recently decided to pull our Anna (age 7) out at Christmas too. School was just not meeting her needs and she was getting bored.

It was such a hard decision, but we are embracing the idea and I know we will have a blast! We love literature here too and will be reading tons of books together. Good luck with everything!


PS..so funny that we have an Anna too and we were going to name our third Maya...I was so sure HE was going to be a girl!
