I have a friend that is interested in the Hooked on Phonics (HOP) program for her son. A closeout store near us has Hooked on English, which is the Spanish to English (ESL) version for really short money, ($20.00).
She is wondering how that would compare to the regular HOP program.
Would this be an inexpensive way to get HOP or would there be too much of the explanatory materials be in Spanish? I'm guessing that would be fairly easy to weed out with the written materials, but not the CD rom.
