A group of us parents have a teacher who has our kids two mornings a week - one morning is out in nature (a park or open space) and one is in one of the parent's home. There are 6 kids total.
One of the parents mentioned having insurance for this. Is this really something we would need special insurance for? I have homeowner's insurance. Has anyone dealt with this?

Thanks.
The first thing I'd do would be to contact your specific homeowner's insurance and ask them.
HSLDA membership is not legal insurance. I'd call my own homeowners' insurance company and as them about this. If they don't cover it, at least they might be able to point you in the right direction. It's something I've wondered about too, but I never got to looking into it. - Lillian
