Fresh updates in posts 116

Is anyone interested in doing a Valentine card exchange? I would be happy to organize, but would like to get started earlier this year.

Anyone?

We did this last year as part of a Canadian homeschool email list we're on... DS loved getting cards from across the country, and even wrote a couple letters back and forth with another boy he 'met' this way.

We'd love to be part of a continental exchange. PMing you!

If it is OK for non-US residents to play, we would love to join in again this year (another Canadian).

I am going to close the swap on January 14th. I still have a few address that I am waiting on, and that will give a day or so to catch any stragglers.

We are approaching 50 kids, at about 25 different address. I an thinking about splitting the list in half, and then asking participants to mail to each child. That would make it about what you would do for a classroom. Thoughts???

Anyone have food allergies to the extent that we couldn't include one of those Yummy Earth Organic lollipops with the card?

My dd used to have tons of allergies and I know how disappointing it is to receive candy and not be able to eat it - I don't want to do that to anyone.

YAY! I'm actually working on some monster valentines for our homeschool co-op crafty class...so we might have some of those to send out.

Welcome to the Real World she said to me, condescendingly, take a seat. Take your life; plot it out in black and white.

Sending out cards to 25 or so people sounds okay and then in return the kids will get 25 or so pieces of mail right.
My daughter will be with getting that much mail!
