I found something cool and thought I would share:

http://www.tomatosphere.org/

In short, you grow two set of seeds - one that has been to space, and one that has not, and compare the results. It is huge, blind study - and kids get to do it!

In Canada, they will mail seeds to individual families, in the US -you need to get a group of HSers together to particiapte.

I got my seeds in about a week.

Have fun!

Kathy - this looks great. Are the seeds free? I can't tell by the info without registering. I'm in the US, so will need to get a group together -- they'll want to know about cost.

We have basil seeds that we are growing. The ones that were in space seem to be growing much faster than the ones that were not in space. We had to pay shipping but it wasn't much. I can't find the location we got them from right now. It's a great experience.
