My 8 yr old is autistic and moderate functioning/learning disabled. I have struggled to find a good way to teach him because he gets distracted rather easily. I had a really tough time doing explode the code with him this year (book 1). I just bought click-n-kids phonics and he LOVES it -- wants to keep playing it and is doing very well (and I didn't know he knew letter sounds -- he struggled so much with it). So...is there a math program on cd or online for elementary age kids -- or specializing in special needs kids? The only thing he loves is memorizing sight words for me ... he didn't like math this year (math - u- see) or explode the code. I was thinking it was just too hard for him but now I'm thinking it might be the method.
It appears that Click'n Kids has recently registered a trademark for Click'n Math.
