I was thinking maybe spending the money and getting the Chalkdust basic math for next year. Its expensive so If someone has tried it Id love to hear a review.

Otherwise suggestions are welcome. My son is okay at math, but I hate, despise, and loath it, so have difficulty teaching it(I dont voice my dislike but keep that to myself).

His big dream is to be a pilot(of course he is 11 so things could change), but math is a big essential, even if its just flying lessons down the road.

So I dont mind spending money on this one subject,..Up to now we tried Saxon, hated that one(so dry and boring even I felt like sleeping watching him do it) and are now just doing the Key to Fractions, Decimals and Percents.

Math was never my favorite subject and dd was pretty unhappy about doing it.  Math U See was a good choice for us.

It comes with a dvd that briefly explains each lesson. We watch the dvd together.
