Can't do online lessons because we are in the UK and the time difference works out too great (not really our thing anyway, we'd tend to listen to loads on an occasional long car journey rather than spacing it out), so we're after good history podcasts for listening to in the car. My kids are 8, 6 and 4, (its really for the oldest but the younger ones will listen of course).
We've tried the audio SOTW and might use that too, but there's the whole non-secular issue.
What have you/ your kids enjoyed?
ETA just looked at historyatourhouse. Looks great but whoah its expensive! Think its out of our budget, sadly.
We really like Stuff You Missed in History Class. It's targeted at the general listener rather than at children but it works for my 9-year-old. They're not presented in a systematic order, but there are enough of them available at iTunes now that you can create your own order or group them by political region or whatever.
Mountain mama to two great kids and two great grown-ups
Thank you moominmamma that looks pretty good, and there's some European / world history in there which is helpful to us!
My eldest dd (12) adores Horrible Histories (BBC). I'm not sure if there are podcasts but you can watch on youtube (or I'm sure you can watch directly on BBC). I think they're hilarious too!
