Sorry, an odd first post.....

A looonnngg time ago I was a member here, as in, years ago. wink1.gif Anyway, I remember a mom here who had already homeschooled-well, actually, unschooled her ds. She was always very encouraging to new unschoolers and homeschoolers alike.

She wrote awesome articles on the importance of play and learning naturally during early school years. Like preK-2nd grade?

I had her info on the computer before last, so am hoping someone knows who I'm remembering.

Please someone remember because it is driving me nuts not to have her articles.

Thanks for any help!

Book and herb loving mama to 1 preteen and 2 teens (when did that happen?).  We travel, go to school, homeschool, live rurally, eat our veggies, spend too much time...

Yes, that is her! Thank you so much! grouphug.gif

Oh my goodness, her wisdom about educating dc was SO wonderful. Now that I have nieces who are interested in educating off the beaten path, I'm gathering info and Lillian's will be so helpful.

Made my day! joy.gif

stillheart.gif Wow! You all made my day. I was just about to go to bed and thought I'd drop in here first and see what's new. I'm so moved to know people are using and enjoying the BestHomeschooling site - that gives me the impetus to get in and do some updating. I have a few new articles to add and lots of new links. The site was created, by the way, specifically to help people find a quiet and peaceful orientation away from all the hype and commercialism and razzmatazz that has flooded homeschooling - it can be so confusing and overwhelming - so it's good to know that's exactly how it's being used.

Thanks so much for all the kind words -  wow.    - Lillian
