Hi, my daughter is switching to a new middle school for seventh grade and will be with kids who have studied Spanish since K. She had some French from K-5 but not Spanish, and I want to help her catch up. Do any of you have recommendations for a Spanish curriculum that she and I could do at home over the summer?
Mango Languages might be a good place to start. You can get it free through most public libraries. It's more conversational than grammar-focused, but it would help her get caught up.
I think conversational learning is more important, but in schooling I think they do put a lot of importance on conjugation, sentence structure, aspects like that. Here's a link to a blog post about Spanish curriculum options, I think you might want to look into:
But definitely see if any others on this forum have input and research all the options!
Buena suerte!
