I would love to see some blogs on how to make small spaces count in homeschooling. We are currently living with my in-laws who don't like to have school stuff strewn throughout the house. It's really hard to find creative ways to carve out our own little niches for unobtrusive learning areas. It's caused me to keep putting off the projects that I really want to do with the kids (4 and almost 2).

I'd love to see more posts along the lines of homeschooling multiple ages/grade levels at the same time, as well as (though I saw one) how to prepare a homeschooled child for college (what special steps you need to take, how to traverse that whole part of the journey, etc.).  Excellent blog!  Love Oak Meadow and can't wait to keep reading!

Oak meadow looks like a really great resource. Thanks to Mothering for introducing me. I'm also interested in the child led learning and about homeschooling as a way to cope with distant family visiting. My mother has ms and my husbands job could be transferring to another country. I'm interested in homeschooling to accommodate visiting her regularly without interrupting the children's schooling

I would love to see a blog post regarding encouraging a child that is less than academically inclined.  As a mother of 5 I've always been fascinated by just how different they are when it comes to school.  I've always wanted them all to love the learning process, which is why I homeschool, but I'm giving up hope that one of mine will ever enjoy it no matter which method I use.

So happy to see this blog! We have an eclectic/unschool approach to homeschooling but I infuse Waldorf ideas throughout. I would love to see a post about the importance of adding handcrafts/art throughout children's learning and how you can do that throughout the subjects.
Thanks! Becky mylifewithpurls.blogspot.com

Really love the philosophy behind this curriculum and the way it is laid out. So hoping to win a curriculum package smile.gif! I am most interested in blog articles pertaining to incorporating arts & crafts into lessons, building a strong love of literature, time management/organization for the homeschool mom, and setting up a creative classroom space. Also looking for effective gentle discipline techniques.

I would love the Oak Meadow blog to cover rhythm rhythm rhythm... I struggle with this so much. Especially with a mix of ages!

I would love to see a post about transitioning to/from a schooling environment to homeschooling. What are the pitfalls of each transition?

I would be grateful for ideas for addressing mandatory testing and specific learning requirements in a way that is compatible with child-led learning. What are some ways of explaining the proficiency tests, etc, to a young child while still upholding the values that lead many of us to choose alternative homeschooling?

Reflections on gently introducing the idea of daily rhythms would be of interest to unschoolingish mamas like me.

I would be interested to read more about arranging and organizing an at home school (the setup of homes, spaces, etc)! I am also interested in rhythm, "scheduling," etc as it pertains to younger people. I would also like to see/share photos of homes and ideas from OM homeschooling families. I would also LOVE to have more guidance about coordinating schooling with multiple children so all are involved in some way or a little more "occupied."

Wonderful! I would love to see an article geared toward incorporating the kindergarten curriculum while caring for a baby. It poses a little bit of a challenge since this will be our first homeschool year. I am very interested in trying the curriculum, it sounds like a great start.
