I have a youngster who would like to do a packet based curriculum, he enjoys completing a work book and moving onto the next.
ACE is a little hokey for my liking, what others are available? I'm currently exploring Lifepacs.
Any other suggestions?
I'm not sure what you mean by "packet form." If you want workbooks that are the main focus of the year but also allow for lots of outside learning, I'd recommend Moving Beyond the Page.
Thanks for the suggestion, I hadn't heard of Moving Beyond the Page before
I am looking for something with workbooks that get completed, similar to ACE.
We are looking at Lifepacs but Alpha Omega is pretty intense with their other programs so I'm not sure if it will be overwhelming or not. Until now we have been loosely unschooling which has been great but he would like to step it up to feel like he is accomplishing more. I'll go look at what you suggested!
Explode the code are fun workbooks for learning to read!
