What do you do with Atribute Links? - Mothering Forums

What do you do with your attri-links or atribute links by Cuisenaire?
I have seen this product online for sale by a lot of homeschoolers.
I dont quite understand what they do with them.

Do you just link them together and talk about the shapes?

Do they go with a particular kind of curiculum?

What ages do you use them with?

I had never heard of these before so I did a search. I still don't know exactly what they are used for. Sorry.

I think you use them for patterning (red, blue, yellow, red....), measuring (instead of a ruler),& sorting by color. Lots of companies make them. Some have activity books to go along with them. They look like fun.
