I know the Pledge of allegiance has been getting lots of press this week..

Here is an alternative pledge.

It is beautiful. maybe we all should use it to remind us that we a world citzens.

But it raises an interesting hs question - Do hs recite the pledge at all at home? We don't - only when it is called for at scouts, ball games, etc. How about others?

Brenoi we don't I haven't even taught it to the two youngest ...
But we don't do boy scouts etc

That's awesome! Thanks for posting it.

We do not say the pledge anywhere that I am aware of. I said it in school (back then we said it every day), and the kids said it weekly during their brief stint in school. Things like that (flag, patriotism etc) have always been about as clear as mud for me. (My own personal issues) I love the poster for that pledge though
