Hello, I have a 4.5 year old that is approaching that age and wanted to get first hand homeschooling experience from other moms. I am planning to attend a Waldorf teacher training this fall and love the Waldorf influences however, unschooling does appeal to me also. Anyone out there?

Hi, I'm in N. CA, near Sacramento. I know two families who have incorporated Waldorf methods and philosophy in their homeschooling, and both have early elementary age children. I'm not sure what types of outside resources they used though. You might want to check out the conferences this summer, it is a great place to meet other homeschoolers. I usually attend the HSC conference in Sac in Aug, but there are others around the state.
