I saw the Don't Know Much About Mythology audiobook at Borders tonight and seriously considered picking it up. Before I shell out $30, though, I'm curious if it's any good.

Has anyone read any of the Don't Know Much... books? Are they any good? Are the adult ones appropriate for children? Are they interesting for children (i.e., if I'm listening to them in the car with the kids in the back)? What about the children's books--dumbed down or fantastic?

Never read any yet. Heard the author on NPR (the Diane Rehm show) discussing his book and I do want to buy it.

Here's the site where you can listen to it If you scroll down to 11:00, Kenneth Davis you'll see on the right where you can click to hear the interview.
