My dd, who is 8 and a half, would love to have a penpal. One she could send letters to, and get some back from.
She says she would like it to be a girl around her age.

Any ideas where to find one... or anyone interested?

Home Education magazine lists pen pals in the back section of their magazine. We have found pen pals this way, and highly reccomend it.

Hey, my dd just turned 9 in Feb. and she says she would love to have a pen pal. Her name is Danielle. You can email or pm if your dd is interested.

I also have a dd who is 12 and would love a pen pal as well. Any one else out there who would like a pen pal?
My older kids always had pen pals and I really believe it was benificial to them. I also have always had pen pals. I fear the art of correspondence is becoming a lost in this instant society of ours.

A friend of mine who homeschools (and would post here herself if her compter and MDC got along) has an eight year old daughter who I'm sure would enjoy a pen pal. Especially since they've just moved. I'll forward the suggestion to her and get back to you.

breastfeeding, babywearing, homeschooling Heathen parent to my little Wanderer, 7 1/2 , and baby Elf-stone, 3/11!

I have a 10-year-old son who could use a snail mail penpal. His interests are ocean biology and especiallly octopus, video and computer gaming, the Redwall series of novels, Bionicles & Legos and swimming.

PM me if you've got a potential match!
