My preschooler has had glimpses here and there of Disney's Ice Age movie... since seeing it he is obsessed with mammoth's and sloths... can anyone recommend any books or coloring pages geared towards this? He's only 2, so I'm not looking for anything technical. A good picture book or some coloring pages would be great.

Ice Age isn't a Disney movie.

breastfeeding, babywearing, homeschooling Heathen parent to my little Wanderer, 7 1/2 , and baby Elf-stone, 3/11!

My dd took a class given by a local university museum at our library a few years ago. She really enjoyed herself and still has a poster of ice age animals on her bedroom wall.

I'd like to know why you're teaching preschool for ice age mammals.

Well didn't Sid the Sloth run a day care in the 2nd movie? Perhaps she's opening a school for where the day care graduates go?

Some cool links, thanks for posting - my boys like Ice Age. (Actually I do too!)

this thread has suddenly taken a hilarious turn!

I was excited to find out that a museum nearby has a Mammoth on display. He is going to love it... maybe I can talk about setting up a class there for baby mammoths.
