Well, you couldn't do it here, but you could do it in the Swaps forum, as long as you followed the rules for swaps... there was a postcard swap there a few months ago, and it was pretty fun. You could post a link her about it, of course.

I think many people here don't consider their children to be in "grades", so that part might be problematic...

Curious, why for the end of third grade??

I know my kids would love to get post cards from everywhere and we could send some from here (CO)...

We would be going into third grade this fall...

In FL we have to "test out" of grades.

Not sure if you want to do it here on Mothering only or not, but wanted to mention the Unschooling Around the World Yahoo group. Unschoolers from around the world are exchanging post cards, its been really fun participating!!

Well... unless things have changed recently, your kids have to either be evaluated by a qualified person or take a standardized test. The Florida homeschoolers I've known just got a homeschooling-friendly certified teacher to "evaluate" them, which was basically just chatting with the parents and kids and maybe looking at a few "work samples", and then writing it up in educationalese. I used to do that sort of thing for people when I worked for a charter school.
