Hello you beautiful goddess'. I am thinking about attending school in Tempe and would like some local info. I have not been to Az in a long time and have no clue as to what its like, except for HOT!!! I would like to live out of a city, although within an hour of Tempe. Anyone know of any good spots. Please tell me all about the area. We are a homebirthing, nonvax'ed, homeschooling hippie family. Looking for a kind place to call home while I attend massage school. Thanks for the help

undefinedHi Darkstar -
I just wanted to let you know that of the Valley, Tempe sounds like just what you may want! It has some very cool spots to walk and hang out, and it is a bit more relaxes (being that it is a college town) then most of Phoenix and less stuffy than Scottsdale. I didn't know if you wanted specific info, but - hope that helps.
Blessings -

I think you'll love Tempe. You'll find great places to shop, eat and hang out. Will you be attending SWIHA?

As for "out of the city" options, I can't think of anything off the top of my head that wouldn't just be a new-home development. (Maybe Queen Creek? Apache Junction?) Unless you wanted to go farther out than 1 hour. But I gotta be honest here, Phx area traffic sucks. And if you lived an hour away from Tempe, you'd be driving thru it every day.

I still think you'll love Tempe Give it a try.

February in Arizona is gorgeous! I lived in Tempe for 9 years and loved it there.
