Hi! We're moving to Philly in a month, and I am pregnant and due in August. Thankfully my wonderful midwives can attend a homebirth in Philly, so I won't have to worry about that. However, I won't want to drive the hour back to my current family practitioner (not with a new baby in the car, anyway), who is rather on the crunchy side -- very amenable to avoiding/delaying vaccines, willing to use alternative methods, extremely pro-breastfeeding, and so pro-homebirth she had one herself. I love her, but I'd like to find someone in the area.
Does anyone know of a pediatrician or family pracitioner in or around Philly who might be willing to work with a crunchyish homebirthing family?
