Hi There!

I actually live in Mississauga but grew up in Simcoe and went to highschool in Brantford.

Are you finding your tribe out that way?

lol - that would be funny. Truthfully I don't really know many people here but it would be funny if we had met somewhere before

I'm in Hamilton. I was raised in K-W and most recently transplanted from Toronto to Hamilton. DH and I may be moving to the Brantford/Paris/Woodstock area in the coming year.

I'm always happy to meet MDC moms in real life - PM if you're ever interested! I have a 9 month old boy and a 4 year old boy.

Hi, I'm located in Hamilton and am desperately in need of a tribe. Is there any progress on this front? If not, can we make it happen?

Just wanted to post a note here because it looks like my DH and I will be moving to Kitchener in a few months (hopefully). DH is originally from there, but moved to the US when we got engaged. Even though we went through all the trouble to get him his green card, we have finally decided we'd be better off living in Canada.

So greetings to all you moms from Kitchener/Waterloo!!

Hi. My name is Amy, and I grew up in Hamilton and have been living in Vancouver for the past two years with my dp, but we just had a baby (she's 1 month old now) and we have decided to move back to Hamilton in July to be closer to family. I'm not super thrilled about the move because I never really liked the city that much, and will really miss being in a city like Vancouver. But I know there are some good things going on there now and so hopefully it'll work out OK. Would love to hear from other MDC mamas with babies in the area, if there are any! Also, I am thinking about/hoping to try to get in on or start an organic food co-op if I can find a good distributor in Southern Ontario, any have any thoughts on that? (We can get pretty good priced organic food here in Vancouver, but I am terrified of what it's going to cost us there ... )
