Not only will I be quoting from last month's thread (because I am that l33t), I will even be quoting from last month's WESTSIDE! thread (because I am that lame, and apparently never actually responded to this when I meant to
):

Now why does that make me want to move my appointment up a week?

Everyone's already said what I would - you're a rockin' mom, and they don't know what they're talking about.

She was born at noon on 1/30, weighing 6 lbs 13 oz (my other two were over 7 1/2 so I don't know how I ended up with such a peanut since I still gained 30 lbs, I guess it's just more weight for me to lose)... The kids are overjoyed, Except for Isabella concluded this morning that babies are a lot of work and not a whole lot of fun when they are first born. I'll send along more details and pics later, going to take a nap now while I can....
I hope you're having your baby soon Rebekah!

Yay! Congratulations, and
Malia!

I'm Leslie..sahmama to my four babes and we're moving to PDX soon from Seattle. I have a thread floating around here somewhere
My dh is leaving for PDX on the 11th and we are going to *try* to stay here and finish up preschool for the kids. Sooo..if things go as planned we'll be fully moved by June. If not then we can be there as early as March
I look forward to the move..but we're a bit nervous leaving Seattle since we've been here four years (3 consecutive). It's kinda our love city...and it's gonna be hard to leave it
Okay...I did not mean to hijack this thread
I look forward to getting to know this community and area!

Leslie! I hope you like it here - I kinda love it.
So my fever broke last night, and I'm still not feeling on top of the world, but as you can see, I can at least sit up today (and eat! mmmm, tapioca pudding...
).
So, insurance stuff still sucks. Blah blah... BUT. Gary had his annual review today (he's now been there just over a year), and not only did he get a PERFECT review AND the promotion/title bump they've been promising, he also got a flipping MASSIVE raise (26%, making a total of 42.5% since he was hired!) - putting him, y'know, at the low end of the range someone with his certifications and experience should be getting, but whatever
- AND his boss said he's been talking with HR about the domestic partnership coverage, and told Gary to email him about it so he could remember to bring it up with HR
again. So it's not currently going anywhere, the earliest we could expect anything (IF they decide to go for it) would be next fall, but at least it's on the radar, and his boss knows that if they want to keep him (which they very much do
) they need to get their butts in gear on this. So life's not going too bad right now.
