I just sort of meandered on in, hoping no one would notice me, lol!

The birth story is on my blog (Makenna's birth), and I do keep in touch with the family! A very dear mama friend of mine was a gestational carrier last year for two dads in Seattle, she had boy/girl twins who are almost one now - it was very exciting to sort of "re-live" the experience through her, all of these years later.

Sav, I LOVE your blog - the one about Caleb had me in tears. I really relate.

I LOVE the Red Tent! Read it in 99' after Seth's birth and could not put it down, and our book group read it again last year - one of the best books of ALL time, besides The Fifth Sacred Thing.

Oh, but teenagers are AWESOME! They get a bad rap, but especially AP-parented teens don't deserve it...my spirited teenager is so much easier now than ever before. Besides, the "f***ing fours" really prepare you for anything that might come your way...

Once he gets his sleep reset, kiddo is at least himself, and not acting like a year younger... I am so glad he is 2!

Oh Jill, this just sounds so hard. Almost a year ago my little one had surgery and it was a real trauma for us all. I'm glad that your little guy is on the mend and I hope that you have a great time camping!

Oh, I know how you feel - Seth cut Sara's hair a couple of years ago and I was really upset! She, on the other hand, loved it and kept reassuring Seth that he had done a great job!

OK, those top two are my all-time favorites Savannah, so now I need to go get The Temple of My Familiar!

Oh, but it's wonderful Angie! He is learning to be his own person with his own ideas and opinions! I LOVE this age, maybe I'm crazy - there's a great article called Toddlers: To Tame or Trust by Naomi Aldort that is GREAT, gotta find that one and print it out, K?
Jake says "I so hungry, I need cheese"
So, I go and get him some cheese and hand it to him and he says, incredulously, "I no want cheese!" and throws it down to the floor!
: life with a toddler is crazy and oh so fun!
