I was thinking we haven't had a Triangle MDC mama get together in a long time. (Or maybe I missed the last couple!)

Anyone interested in meeting at my home in Raleigh? I'm near NCSU.

Weekdays or weekends? Morning, afternoon, or evening?

That would be great! We were just talking on another thread about getting some local moms together. Right now we were looking at Mondays. Is that a day that will work for others?

Any day is fine by me. Are you planning to meet more in the Durham/Chapel Hill area? Seems like we usually end up meeting up that way.

Actually, it was the Cary mama's that were hoping to meet. So, your place near NCSU would be fine.

I'd be interested in joining you guys! I'm down in Clayton but can drive up. On Mondays, I work in the evening after DH gets home (from 5:30-9:30) so would do better with morning/mid-day. (Hi Rebecca!) I'd love to meet some MDC moms.

Kelly, wife to DH, mom to Caden Reese (10-2-06), Tessa Brynn (12-26-08 ), and Maddox Quinn (7-16-11). Fur-mama to Finnegan, Ripley, Raisin (my little kitty amputee) and Kimchi. 748/2011, 2028/2012-I did it!! 2023/2013-Again!!! 404/2014

Hey Kelly! Long time no see.

(I just realized that I need to send out the high needs baby group meeting info. Good thing you posted!!)

So... we could do Monday at 10:30 at my place. (This coming Monday?) Or should we plan for next Monday?

Anyone else who is interested in coming, PM me for the address. I sent it to those in this thread.

(Also sent info about foods not to bring, as my son is allergic to milk. Thanks for being understanding!)

Hi Rebecca, and everyone else! I ended up having to make a ped appt for Caden for Monday as his reflux has been awful the last few weeks. The appointment is at 9:15am..not sure how long it will take. They have been kinda blowing me off and doing the whole "he'll grow out of it" thing for a while, and he was doing better for a bit, but now he is worse again. So we're going to have a "come to jesus" meeting as they say, and if I get blown off again, we're changing docs...anyhow, if it goes fairly quickly I'll be there, maybe a little late. If it takes a while, I won't be there this time. .

Can Malachy eat hummus and pita bread? (and everyone else?) I'll try to bring that if I am able to make it.

Yikes, good luck with the doc appt. We have been really happy with Dr. Ramsdell in Apex, FWIW... I was having the same experience with Malachy's ongoing wheezing and his previous doctor, and after we switched to her, she was able to get the wheezing down within a couple of weeks!

Hummus and pita bread are fine (just check both labels if you are buying either... typically they are both safe but you never know unless you check!)

ugghhh!! I'm so sorry that I missed the get-together yesterday!! At 10:15am Elijah decided he was ready for his nap and he didn't wake up until almost noon. I hope everyone had a nice time and we'll have to plan another one soon.
