yes that's right!

as per the rec on the other thread, I took DD to see Dr. Greenwood this morning. She's not gaining, so I just wanted to touch base on that. He introduced himself as John, admitted that he, as a dr, can only offer advice, but we as parents are ambassadors for our children's health and ultimately it is up to us. He wasn't worried in the least about her lack of gaining, reassured me it's b/c of what I suspected--all her movement. he also said bm is all a baby needs in the first year when we were on the topic of the few solids dd has had.

and told me to come back in a while. like six months.

NOW, ... there were some bibles i saw, and framed bible verses. doesn't float my boat necessarily, but it's a fine trade-off for a doc who actually looks up to me.

just wanted to let y'all know

oh yeah, address and such:

dr. john greenwood
11750 w. 135th st (135th & quivera)
overland park, ks 66221
(913) 851-1280

HTH!

Thanks for the encouraging recommendation! We are in Independence and haven't quite decided where we'll take the baby yet. We know a doctor we're comfortable with in Liberty though he's not as like-minded as this guy sounds, and a good recommendation for a doc in Lees Summit, but I don't think she's as BF friendly. Nice to have another option to check out!

Blessed to be married to my awesome husband since 2006.
