Hi Southern mamas! I just got a job at Ole Miss, so it looks like we're moving to Oxford this summer. I'm excited about being there, but anxious about the whole vax issue, finding an AP-supportive ped, etc etc. Any words of wisdom or welcome much appreciated!
Welcome, mama! I am close by! We moved out into the country from oxford 2.5 years ago (after living there for 5 years), but we're still only twenty minutes away. As far as vaxes go, we are currently trying to get an exemption law passed. Pm me your email and I can forward the info if you want email some congressman and let them know your story and ask for their support of this bill! Unfortunately, we have yet to find a ped nearby that we truly like, but there are some options.
oxford is a neat little town and I would love to help you out if you have any more questions, let me know!
Welcome to Ole Miss! I live about 30 minutes from Oxford. I am a sahm of 4. I sorry to say I wouldn't have a clue as to a good ped. We don't use them. My mom is my midwife and IF we need a doctor we use the dr that is local. I hope you some luck finding what you need.
