I am taking an ASL class and I have an article due on Deaf Culture. I would love to write it about my main intrest Motherhood. I want to know what its like as a Deaf mother, what are your challenges? your hopes and fears? How does the hearing community treat you? Do you find that being an Attached parent has helped? What 'tricks' do you have ie; light alerts to a crying baby etc. What can hearing moms do for you? What do you want people to know about Deaf Moms? Just your general complaints, rants or Cheers about being a Deaf mom. Please tell me your age, amount of children, and how you became deaf and how profoundly deaf you are, also if you have a hearing aid or cochular (sp?)implant. Feel free to email me if you want further information or a bit of privecy. I will send copies of the article to each mother I site and maybe post it with everyones permission.

Thank you so much for your help. I am very excited to be writing this.
