My ds will be 16mos at the end of this week and my tear is still not healed. I had an interesting birth with a really long push and a 3rd degree perineal teal along with some tearing on the internal vaginal walls. My perineal sutures unfortunately fell out a few days postpartum, but my perineum did heal fine - it took about 4 months, but it's entirely healed. I'm having trouble with the tear that I had on my vaginal wall on the right side. It just won't heal - it's not terrible at this point it really just looks like a red scratch, but it's painful with sex and since I'm pregnant with our second I would really like to get this figured out. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I knew a lady that had that situation, she asked her doc to take care of it and they did stitches to take care of it...have you tried that? Ask your midwife or doc...you might see a naturalpathic doctor, they might have a natural remedy the encourages health and healing in that area!
