I have a question about my scar. The last couple of days it has been hurting a little on the edge and today it has gotten proggressively worse. It hurts mainly when I make quick movements but it sore all the time. I stood up just a few minutes ago and I doubled over because of the stabbing pain. I felt my scar and most of it feels normal but exactly where the pain is there are bumps and they hurt when I touch them. Could I have an infection internally? I have never heard of any of this. Should I go to the Doc? Thanks for any advice;-)

I had a severe infection after my c-section. It took weeks in the ICU and 2 surgeries to finally clear it. That was exactly a year ago today and I still get a lot of pain (burning and stabbing) in my incision and bumps/boils. Never had anything like it till my c-section. I would definitely go to the Dr, those infections can spread to your internal organs and cause a lot of problems.
