I broke my tailbone in labor 6 months ago. It still hurts; sometimes it "pops" when I get out of a chair wrong or have been in a car for too long. My MW said that there's no treatment but time. I tried a chiropractor but it didn't help....any suggestions or been-theres?

My mother suffered a broken tailbone (not from childbirth). It took over a year for her to feel better. I had some tailbone pain after my DD1 birth, and what helped me the most was exercise. I did pilaties for core strength, and yoga for posture awareness, particularly when sitting. Hope you feel better soon.

CD'ing, homebirthing, milk making school teacher. Supporting my family on my income and trying to get out of debt in 2013!

My midwife recommended physical therapy.
