The article is very disturbing... but it's important reading. Another tragedy going on in Africa that very few people are doing anything about. :

Mom to DS(8), DS(6), DD(4), and DS(1).  "Kids do as well as they can."

I have no words. I cannot imagine the horror those women have experienced. I wonder how the doctor in this article could be supported in his work. I wonder how the culture that allows this to continue could be changed...
