Any runners out there? When I had DD I was only casually running a little so I stopped when I got PG and only walked, did prenatal yoga, etc. But about a year after having her (so about 2.5 years ago) I started running more seriously - at least 12-15 miles a week. My OB/MW team ok'd me continuing run while PG this time - but only 3 times a week and for 20-25 minutes top and much slower. So instead of running 4xweek for 3-4 miles a clip at a pretty good pace, I've been running about 2 miles 3x a week quite slowly and getting slower even.
Last night when I got on the treadmill to run (it was too cold outside) I found I couldn't run. I did my normal warm up walking and when it came time to even slow jog I got a slight cramp/stitch in my side almost right away. It didn't ease up with slow breathing so I just switched it up and walked at a nice pace on an incline instead.
I prefer to keep jogging as long as I can - I feel much better when I do and it can really help prepare your body well for labor too. But if I can't of course I won't risk anything and will walk. Just wondering if any of you have experienced the same. My breathing seemed OK - just was getting that uncomfortable stitch in my side. Also - my uterus did just move up out of my pelvis (I'm 11w 2d).
