So, I know cramping at this point is totally normal (I'm only 36w2d), but I'm wondering how many of you are also dealing with it? I get cramps for hours - totally feel like I have PMS and am just waiting for Aunt Flo to arrive. Then part of me starts thinking maybe this is the precursor to something....although I honestly don't think she'll come for a few weeks yet.

Anyone else having cramping like this? I never had this with my DS (that I can remember anyway).

I've been doing that since about 36w4d, and it hasn't stopped yet (38w6d).

I never had cramping with my first but I have had it occasionally with this pregnancy. Nothing that lasted for hours though! I've had a few nights where I woke up b/c I was cramping but it seemed to go away after just a bit. Sometimes I wonder if I what I have is just gas though...ya know, with our intestines all out of place I never know what I am feeling where in my body!

Hang in there Mama! We are getting closer and closer...and I am sure the cramps are doing something to move us along. At least I hope they are!

Yes, I've had some cramping way down low as well, and lower back pain along with it. The other night I was all in a tizzy about it, freaking out that we don't have the correct hose for the birth tub, that the house was cluttered, etc.

And then I got myself together and realized that it's all good - just my body getting ready for Reid to come! But boy, those cramps are uncomfortable!!

Kier: wife to Jared, mama to Emma ('05), Savannah ('07), and our newest little love Reid (June 30, '09) -intact because of all of YOU! I had an ecstatic birth, at home in the water!

Yep. I've had cramping off and on throughout my whole pregnancy but recently it's become an everyday thing. And I've noticed that my BH will feel a little crampy down low...not that I get more than like 3 at time so nothing to get excited over yet. For some reason I get them more when I lay down than any other time.

My cramping has been really low too, like a belt around my lower back/pelvic area. I had back labor w/#1 so this freaked me out for a bit but of course, today I'm fine LOL. I also had a few kickbutt contrax last night but alas, today is zero LOL. She is moving less today though.

I wouldn't describe mine as high or low or anything. It literally just feels like menstrual cramps. So, I guess by definition low, but ???

I'm having tons of BH as well - but nothing painful at all. Just lots of tightening.

The only thing that IS painful lately is my baby! I swear -she's growing and my belly is NOT. When she stretches out in there it's brutal! My hubby got to feel her foot digging into me yesterday and he was shocked! Feels like someone poking me hard with a stick (she feels really bony).

YES! That is exactly what I have been feeling lately too! Sometimes it catches me off guard and I'll kind of jump and wince, which of course causes everyone around me to have a mini freak out. In the last week or so it just feels like she has no more room in there! Never felt like that with my other 2, even though my last baby came at 41w2d. Kind of makes me wonder (worry, lol) that she's going to be a lot bigger.
