I have to say, you don't look at ALL like you could have gained that much! Its all belly it seems and while the belly is prominent it doesn't look like a 50lb one

Aww, thank you! I was very tiny before I got pregnant, 98lbs. Now at 144lbs! I am 5' tall with a tiny frame, and spent most of my time carrying heavy objects around. I was pretty active, but with this pregnancy I haven't been able to do much more than walk through the store.... I was also a smoker: (ick) pre-preg, so quitting helped me gain a few too.

And I must say- you look terrific!! I wish I could go biking! Poor DP has to go all by himself now..

hah, well don't feel bad then, since even w/ a 50lb weight gain you are still 20lbs less than me *before* pregnancy (I weigh around 168 usually) I've put on about 20lbs so its easy to keep biking/running since 20lbs compared to almost 170 isn't a lot. I've never appreciated my 'super large' frame so much before! Its annoying when trying on jeans but seems to make pregnancy a lot easier.

I can imagine being 5ft tall makes it pretty tough! Its good the baby is low I guess, otherwise your ribs would certainly be super sore! You look to be carrying the weight great though, must be all that practice w/ 'super heavy' objects

Awww it's so beautiful up there! My brother is getting married in Candler in August, so we chose Pisgah Inn for the rehearsal dinner. I've lived all over WNC: Sparta, Burnsville, Weaverville, Asheville, Wesser (near Bryson City)!

since I *can* take a 40wks picture, I figure I might as well!

40 weeks front

side view

wearing one of two pairs of 'miracle' jeans that still fit and button, and sadly both styles are not made anymore (one mavi, one banana republic) otherwise I'd have bought way more!!! they have been awesome through this pregnancy! I do unbutton them when I sit down though

I've shared the last few of my bump photos here:

I am a first timer, due pretty soon and man are these last few weeks uncomfortable! Wish I knew if labor was around the corner or not. I am not very patient.

Thanks!! Yeah the stretch marks are kinda light, and only in a 3" by 2" spot, so I'm not really complaining. Just was suprised to see em. How are you holding up??

I think I'd be okay if I had told everyone I was due at the END of June instead I think its everyone ELSE that's making me antsy! (of course my ob/gyn is also in this category, since they want to induce me on Saturday, I should have fudged my dates w/ them especially!)

I'm actually still WAY too comfy which makes me worry I will make it to Sat. I'm doing acupuncture on Wednesday, so hopefully that does something (if I make it to wed, that is, babe can come earlier if it likes! )

I am taking long walks, quilting on a birthing ball, having lots of sex, what else can I do, really? babe is on its own timetable !

I am hoping I go into labor before I have to go to work on Tuesday. I *really* don't want the 'still HERE?' conversations AGAIN. Ugh.

almost 39w

My stomach is just about one big stretch mark. I didn't get very many with ds. But I still have hope that these fade to just about nothing like they did last time.
