I give teachers, prinicpal, office worker each a tray of home made chocolates and cookies we make that week. But I love making all these sweets. I figure they can enjoy them or re gift them that weekend at a party since its all made up. One year I received a call the following week from the office secretary (whose daughter also teaches at the school) wanting a recipe to the buck eye chocolates I made. Their family was doing  their cookie exchange and she and another family member gobbled them all up and she wanted to make a batch.

I also give a gift card to a local lunch  place the teachers can go to.

I always do a loaf of bread (pumpkin or zucchini or something like that) and a gift card.  Our daycare provider gets one to Chili's (because she loves it every year) and whatever teacher ds1 has gets one to a book store.
