We could totally avoid this problem if we make all the classrooms out to be like this famous Taiwanese restaurant:

I agree. I'd talk to the teacher. Last year when my DD was in kindergarten there were a lot of children that would ask to go to the bathroom once every hour if allowed so she had to be strict on bathroom trips, but it was also right across the hall from the classroom so it went okay usually.
