I am so looking forward to our trip to Florida, we can get sun, vit. D, see family we like, go swimming, etc. But I am so sick to my stomach that I just lay on the couch and moan (or sit at my computer and moan at work ) Getting on an airplane right now, when I get a motion sick on the best of days, is terrifying. I am just venting, since when we planned this trip I had no idea that I was pregnant or that I would feel THIS bad... Waaaaaaa.

End of vent, sorry.

Good luck with your trip! Take some hard candy to suck on and some crackers to munch.
I hear ya though. I really want to take a trip with my DH about Jan 3 but I'm afraid I'll still be nauseous and pukey.

I hope you have a great trip. I don't like to fly anyway...much less feeling like I do now. I feel bad for you, hopefully the flights go well.

good luck with your flight! i flew to england 2 weeks ago and was super nervous about how i would be feeling. it actually didn't turn out to be that bad. i think i was so focused on all the details, transfers etc that i didn't think about being nauseated. on the plane i just made sure i had plenty of water to drink and something to fan myself with (the temperature changes bothered me). bring food that settles your stomach. be sure to wash your hands frequently and use hand sanitizer, those planes are a germ-fest. good luck with your trip, i hope it's restful and fun once you get there!
i've got my fingers crossed for my next flight on saturday to cancun. we're going on vacation and i have a small amount of regret that i won't be able to sip pina coladas by the pool all week. but i'm sure it will still be really fun. we're meeting my parents there and we'll get to tell them we're pregnant!
let us know how it went
