So last night we did a breast and belly cast. I didn't know it was supposed to be SO humid outside... and we use an evaporative cooler, which puts more humidity in our house, not less. If we had central A/C I wouldn't be having this problem.

The cast is STILL wet and will move if you touch it. It is propped up right now but it has been 16 hours or so and it is NOT set up. I am SO sad! I think it might end up being a loss and that stinks.

At this point the only thing I can think to do is to take the racks out of the oven and prop it up in there and turn the oven on... but I don't know how that will work with the plaster.

I just want to cry.

s so sorry mama!

Your life doesnât change by the man whos elected. If your loved by someone you can't be rejected... decide what to be and go be it! If your a caged bird brake in and demand that somebody free it.

!!!

I think the oven idea will work, as long as you keep an eye on it and keep it super-low...
I STILL haven't done a belly cast... I REALLY gotta get to Michaels like TONIGHT or I am afraid I will miss my chance!

Yikes! What about using a blow dryer to at least get it started drying out? I hope it's salvageable.

Thanks everyone. I did prop it in the oven, turn the oven to 200 and then turn it off when it got hot... leaving the door closed. I guess I'll turn the oven on once an hour or something and then turn it off.

The reason it makes me so sad is this is my last pregnancy (and it took 10 years to get here even!) and so I won't have another chance to do such a thing. *sigh* O.K. I am going to try to get a good attitude that it will work and be fine *crosses fingers*

in case anyone was wondering, I put it in the oven, turned the oven to 200 for 5 minutes, then turned it off for an hour. I did that 3 times. It WORKED! It is hard now
