Ok, um, so how long do you think I can expect incontinence? I know it's normal after giving birth, but it's getting ridiculous! I gave birth one week ago, and I feel like instead of healing it's getting worse. I don't even want to leave the house anymore. I'm tired of doing tons of laundry because I'm having to change clothes during the day from - well, from anything from a big sneeze to bending over to trying to pick up something even moderately heavy. I'm so frustrated! How long is normal?

With my last DD, i had that too I know it was bad like that for a little bit, but that it did not keep up like that for a long time. What did last for a long time, was the inability to stop anything once it had already started (whether on purpose or not)

You need to kegel multiple times a day. I've never experienced it but i know kegels are key!

Yeah but the lochia doesn't bug me. I had to buy the heavy duty incontinence pads today because I pee so often...little trickles so often I had to change the regular sized pads every hour and still had leaks. It's so frustrating because other than that I 'be had a very easy recovery. I am starting to pay attention to doing frequent levels. I hope it helps!

definitely do kegels. I had that problem with DD...nothing major though, but lots of little leaks. The kegels really helped.

mama to DD (7), DS (3.5), and another DS arriving in August!

I was just going to post something similar! I have had the same problem all week. I started the kegels today. Hopefully that will help. No other advice, just wanted to say I'm with you!
