That sucks. I hope the next cycle works out better..

DH(37) + I(36) have been working on collaborative project #1 for 6 years, fighting more battles than I ever imagined. 2/2014 - IVF cycle =  due in late November!

I've been following your saga with great interest, and I'm so sorry it ended the way it did. :

My HCG results for yesterday are 482... So, I was right, it wasn't an ectopic and I definitely miscarried. Now I can relax for a few days.

I'm so sorry Stevi. You will continue to be in my thoughts. I can't imagine having to go through this twice back to back. I hope if they still want to monitor them that your levels drop soon and you can get back to TTC.

Thanks Madalyn... Yes, the docs want me to get tested every 48 hours until the number hits zero.

My HCG on the 27th was 71. So they are still dropping. I had another draw today and will get the results on the 1st or 2nd of January.

I decided to keep this updated until I reach zero so that others with a similar problem can see how it went for me.

Thank you GenomicsGirl.

My Doc's office called, my HCG yesterday was 24. So they're still going down, but seems like it slowed up a little. They want me to get my next draw in a week. I'll update when I have the results.

Okay, this is my last update.

I decided not to get another HCG quant. A nurse agreed that my numbers dropped very rapidly, though she still said she can't recommend not testing.

My Medicaid was cancelled and I just don't feel that anything is wrong on that front. So, I'm going to just wait and see how things go.

I also decided not to TTC this cycle (my miscarriage cycle) as my uterus still feels sore. I'll see how I feel by my next ovulation.

Stevi -- As for your progesterone, my OB began testing regularly after my first loss. Now, several losses later (because of drops in progesterone at 8 weeks or so resulting in miscarriage), my progesterone level is tested every three days until I'm between 10-11 weeks. Next time, I would insist on testing.

I'm so, so sorry for your losses...
