I know most people who don't know I am pregnant will probably just think I have a poochy belly, but I *feel* like I am enormous and showing a lot already, at 9 weeks. I'm already to the shirts are too short on me point, and I was out of my jeans by 7 weeks.

This is my third baby, and I swear, after the first one, my body just goes "oh yeah!" and my whole belly blows up as soon as the stick turns positive. I know it's mostly water causing the bump at this point, but still, I feel like I look about four months pregnant.

I can tell when I'm not wearing clothes. But I've lost weight from the nausea, so I'm both smaller because of the weight loss and poochier in the tummy b/c I'm skinnier everywhere else.

that may be the case for me too. I have a mild case of HG (a bit of an oxymoron I know. That is to say, I vomit A LOT, more than the average person, but not quite as bad as other women with HG). I have lost weight on the scale but I swear I don't look any thinner.

I feel pretty big for being 10 weeks. I already had a poochy belly to begin with though.....but thankfully no random person has come up to me and asked me how far along I am yet, so maybe I'm not as big as I think I am.

I know I am showing... I am in maternity shirts alfready and my jeans do not button! When your uterus starts to double, triple, etc in size, it pushes the other organs (intestines, etc) UP, causing a pouchy tummy. My uterus is about 3inches above my pelvis bone, and I feel huge! I was at the store the other day, and someone said "Aww, #2 on the way?" I was like yeah.. lol. She probably wasnt completely sure because I am a bit overweight, but not enormously.. but she was right, so I know people can tell, at least a little bit..

I'm looking quite big. I was really surprised that all my shirts are too short for me now. With DS I was able to wear regular shirts until close to the 3rd trimester...but at 10 weeks this time most of my regular shirts are too short. It's a pain because I was counting on not having to get any new shirts until warmer weather!

I haven't gained any weight either...so I know my pooching stomach is related to things being pushed up rather than weight gain. I sometimes get sad because even though I LOOK pregnant...it's not the baby yet...just fat and intestines and stuff. I can't wait until I can put my hand on my belly and know it's the baby I'm feeling.

Oh, and I always have what my niece calls a "food baby" b/c I have to eat constantly (small meals, but still) to keep the barfs at bay.

I'm 9 weeks too and I'm not only showing, I've exploded. I feel so incredibly gigantic. This is my third baby too, I'm about as big as I was at 24 weeks with DS2 - no exaggeration.

I feel like I'm showing, but it's definitely not as obvious as I think it is. I had to tell the dental hygienist that I'm pregnant, and she didn't think I looked pregnant at all. I was noticing a 13-yr-old girl who what "showing" about as much as I am, and well, she's not pregnant.

I took some belly pics, they're at my flickr:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/26954624@N00/

I wasn't this big until about 16 or so weeks when pregnant with #1, and about 14 weeks with #2. I wonder how big I will get this time...

I had a poochy belly to begin with as well, but not THIS poochy.

So glad to know I am not the only one who's already in maternity wear.

This is exactly how I feel. Number 3 pregnancy, and the minute that stick showed positive, I was showing. I swear, it's the craziest thing. I feel gigantic. My jeans fit but i can't button them comfortably sitting down. Even my boobs are bigger all of a sudden!

My boobs are bigger too, much to my annoyance. I JUST bought new bras because my 2.5 year old weaned a few months back. So I was all excited about getting 'real' bras...then I immediately got pregnant

Lol, yeah, don't feel bad. I look about like you.. I took a belly pic (not a great one, but it gives you an idea..) if you want to see it, it is the latest post on my blog (see siggy). I haven't gained any weight, and actually, have lost about 3 lbs since pre-pregnancy.

Awww, what a cute belly!

I've lost weight too. I swear I don't look any thinner though, despite losing about 8 lbs.

I keep waiting for someone to get suspicious or ask me, because I feel poochy - I'm doing the rubber band button trick for now on my pants... but no one has asked yet! I'm 10 wks and see my m/w on 1/27, so we want to wait to tell the world until then...

Thanks for reminding me guys, I've got to charge my camera batteries since ds and I are going on an outing to a petting zoo tomorrow. And I'll be sure to take a belly pic or two. It'll be cool if I can get someone to take a pic of both me and my friend we're going with - she's due 3 or 4 days after I am!

i have a "spare tyre" anyway, i had is since i had my 3rd and with my 4th i was still pretty tiny at 24 weeks i was in bath last night and DH looked at me and said wow you have a bump, im like err thats all fat it not baby, its not a bump. he took a pic (no i am NOT postin a pic of me in the bath) and showed me and from that angle it does look a bit bump like. i still think i just look like i have a spare tyre fat, not pregnant. im i think 154lb (11 stone in UK weights) i was that weight when i got pregnant with DD2 so i am expecting my growth with this one to be prety much the same.

Christine your face in that second picture is craking me up!! I don't know why but it is just far to funny for me today lol

I was the same way Talula, I bought fun lacey padded bras and voila prego... and my boobs are hurting so much this time around, its hurts to sleep. It feels like engorgment all over again.

I feel huge. People are noticing that I am pregnant.

I look like thorn does only slightly bigger and I am barely 11wks. But this is number 4. I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

I feel bigger and I am just waiting for people to notice but honestly it probably isn't as bad as I think since I am still in my normal pants. They are starting to tug a little but still buttoning.

I am actually pretty excited about not being bigger since with DS I exploded. mostly fat early on but still had to go buy new pants at 6-7 weeks.

I doubt I could get my pants on even with a rubber band. I always thought that was SO uncomfortable too. The zipper pokes you.

Thorn your belly is really cute.

I guess showing early is pretty common in subsequent pregnancies. I barely even had a pooch at this stage in my first pregnancy and I was still wearing normal pants. I also had a nearly flat tummy starting out. OH, those were the days.

RoseRed I am totally in the same boat. My boobs are huge and they hurt. I half expect them to start leaking anytime now!
