Who else is August 1-7?
We are all getting closer. I'm 35 weeks tomorrow. I cannot believe my home visit is Friday and I can go at home next Sunday! WOW crazy...
So...you're very right. It's getting SO close!
My second son died shortly after his birth last August and I don't think emotionally I can wait or go past my due date. I do know that I do not want a pitocin induction. My doc has agreed to try cervadil. I've read a lot on it and many say it can start labor and others say it doesn't. If doesn't work we'll just come home (again no pitocin and no AROM). I may not have much choice to wait until this little one is ready if the cervadil doesn't work but I'm going to give it a shot.
I also figure closer to 39 weeks I'll try some natural methods. I'm not interested in castor oil but I'm going to try acupuncture for sure.
So, I float between the July and August DDC. Can't wait for all of us to meet our little ones! :
Actually I'll be surprised if I go past 8/23.
Cheshire--totally understandable. Here's hoping you go before 39 weeks, but if not, you've certainly put good thought into how you want things to go. Can't wait to hear your good news!!
I rearranged and reorganized his room last night, and it made me feel good. Putting the final touches on everything, and really trying to prepare myself.
This is such an exciting, uncomfortable (BOY is it uncomfortable), and happy time!!!! hahahaha

It will be interesting to see when this babe is born.I have had July 13th in my head since I peed on a stick!!!maybe that is just wishful thinking seeing as I am suffering from preggo witch syndrome this time.I swear as soon as the clock stricks 2pm I turn into a witch, never happened before!!my other were between 2 -3 weeks early but I wont count on that!! I am 2 -3 cm and at least 50% effaced though which makes me nervous as everytime I have reached 4cm the babe has been born within the hour::

I am due August 3rd or 12th depending on who you talk to.
I go by Aug 3rd since that's my conception due date and it's more accurate IMO, since this time I know when it happened.
I went two weeks early with the first and a week early with the second, so my prediction is anytime between July 23rd and end of July.
But....I am bigger this time and having an awful lot of contractions, pressure and pain that has stoped me in my tracks - so who knows!
Ironically my midwife is also going to be going away at the end of the month! How perturbing!
Good luck mommies! I'll bet some of us will share some dates.

"attached" SAHM for our spunky Leo boys Loki & Joseph (2 & 5)
We've got a new addition - our first babygirl - arriving mid to late February! Life is good.
I guess that makes 5 of us.. At least two of us have to have the baby on the same day. That would be neat.
Edit** I'm just realizing how terrified of labor I am becoming. I'm a first time mom and the thought of labor makes my stomach turn... I kind of wish I was due at the end of august instead of the beginning now...
I went almost 4 weeks late with DD. I better not go till the end of Aug.
My MW home visit is on Tuesday. I am so excited!!!
I'm feeling pretty good....tired and swollen feet but doing good. I feel like I have a good handle on everything that still needs to get done. And I feel like I am doing all I can to make this birth a successful one (yoga, swimming, kegels, squats, pelvic rocks, reading many books...etc)
I'm the first one due in our Bradley class too.
It is so crazy that we are so close to the finish line. We can do it ladies! :
