I have a three year old and an 18 month old. I just found out I'm preggers on Sunday and still in shock. We weren't trying but weren't preventing. We really just weren't thinking about it.

So just wondering if anyone else here is having number three and worried that they can handle it. I'm definately worried!

But still blessed beyond belief!!!:::

This is #3 for me. Mine are 5 and 2, though, and I'm worried about how I'm going to be able to handle three! I'm sure we'll do what we have to do...

My kids are 9 and 5, they'll be 10 and 6 by the time this baby comes around. I wish I could comment on the mothering of three little ones at once but I've never even had two in diapers at the same time!

I've got two living kids so this will be number three. They are a bit older though.

Number 3 for us as well. Ds is 8 and dd is 5 (will be 6 when the new babe gets here). I'm thrilled to be pg, but dreading the lack of sleep again. I just got back to being quasi-well rested. Trying to figure out how to juggle everything - work, kids, house...

My family: me jog.gif, dh geek.gif, ds reading.gif (11), dd1 hearts.gif (9), and dd2 energy.gif(3).

Tout va s'arranger à la fin. Si elle ne fonctionne pas; ce n'est pas la fin.

Me!

I do think it will be easier for those of us who have older children (mine will be 8 and 5). Though there is that whole aspect of being in a different phase and having to adjust to going back to baby stage again. I've been thinking about things like baby proofing and diaper pails and...aggghh! I have to stop or I'll scare myself!

It's funny how just a few short years can make a difference in how big an adjustment a baby will be.

This will be number 3 for us too!! : My kids are older though... 16 and 8 so I am not too worried about being able to handle three... if they were all little that would be a different story.

I do have my niece living with us off/on though and she's 1 1/2 and I will say that it could be challenging to have two kids in the house under two!! We don't know how long she will be with us at this point though so that could go either way. I am up for the challenge though!! :

#3 over here as well, the siblings are 5 and 2, so a little older as well.
The big thing for us will be: we'll need a new car, and need to upgrade our family bed somehow or move the older one(s) into a room of his/their own.
Arrange your house (esp. your kitchen) so that your older one can get clothes and food on his/her own if you haven't done so. Helps a lot, and gives a great ego boost as well...

I have a 3 yr old and a almost 1 yr old. EEK. So the baby will be 19mo and the "oldest" will be almost 4. I'm terrified.

This is #3 for us as well. I have a 6 year old dd and ds is 18 months. I had a very hard time ttc ds, so getting our BFP while nursing him was a total shock. While I know its easier that dd is older, we also homeschool her, so mentally trying to figure how I'll homeschool, and care for a toddler and a baby makes my head want to explode sometimes. I know I'll find a way, just like we'll find a way to sleep and everything else we have to do- but OH, MY!

This will be our 3rd living child (hopefully).

My oldest will be 6 in a few days and my youngest just turned 2.

I have *heard* that the transition from 2-3 is easier than 1-2. I'm holding onto that. 1-2 just about did me in. I'm still recovering, 2 years later.

Krista , glorious solo mum to Ethan (7), Silas (3), and Rory (4 months).

This is #4 for us - but I wanted to say that my #3 came along similarly spaced as the OP's and everything worked out fine. The three are great friends now (ages 5,4 & 18mos), and the two older ones have really enjoyed helping to take care of the younger one. You'll love it!

Thanks for the reassurance. I am excited and worried and giddy and shocked - all at the same time!
Congrats on your number 4!

Hi! We had been TTC for a year and found out we are prego due Sep 26! This is # 3 for us as well Last night we were talking about baby poop ( discussing cloth dipes) and I realized ...oh no I am not ready to change newborn poopy diapers again ( the other two potty trained themselves at around two years old) so I am hoping this one comes out trained! In fact the very idea of this actually makes me gag...I have nausea ALL the time.

Yes, this is #3. DD is 7, and will be nearly 8, DS is 7 months. I'm not too worried about juggling with the oldest- two under two though- I'm prety sure I'm going to keel over dead.

#3 for us too I run a homedaycare, so there's random little ones around here during the day - so I don't anticipate a big adjustment, except for the tiredness Those munckins go HOME at night!

My own children are all going to be nearly 4 years apart, so it makes for some good helpers

I'm honestly not too worried about it - I hope I'm not eating my words! I think it's always a learning curve, yk? We'll all wonder how we THOUGHT we were busy with only 2, yk?

Julia(34), Mommy to: Maddie(10), Grace(6), Charlotte (3) and our only Little Man (due 2/23).

It's a crazy life!

This will be number 3 for me as well. I have an 18 month old and a 5 month old. I am not worried at all. It was so easy to go from one to two. What is one more?

Going from #2 to #3 isnt so bad. I think going from #1-#2 was more of an adjustment. This is #4 for us. I am almost 14 weeks and still in shock.

Congrats!
