So just wondering if anyone else here is having number three and worried that they can handle it. I'm definately worried!
But still blessed beyond belief!!!:::
nicole, wife & very blessed mom of 2 fun boys '03 & '05 & sweet girl '10. Due 1-6-13
My family: me , dh , ds (11), dd1 (9), and dd2 (3).
Tout va s'arranger à la fin. Si elle ne fonctionne pas; ce n'est pas la fin.
I do think it will be easier for those of us who have older children (mine will be 8 and 5). Though there is that whole aspect of being in a different phase and having to adjust to going back to baby stage again. I've been thinking about things like baby proofing and diaper pails and...aggghh! I have to stop or I'll scare myself!
It's funny how just a few short years can make a difference in how big an adjustment a baby will be.
my 2 kids are just turned 9 ds and almost 6 yr old dd.
i'm not only worried about how i'll handle it, but where everyone can sleep
we gotta get the bigguns outta the bed now so there is room for safe cosleeping with the newbie
I do have my niece living with us off/on though and she's 1 1/2 and I will say that it could be challenging to have two kids in the house under two!! We don't know how long she will be with us at this point though so that could go either way. I am up for the challenge though!! :
The big thing for us will be: we'll need a new car, and need to upgrade our family bed somehow or move the older one(s) into a room of his/their own.
Arrange your house (esp. your kitchen) so that your older one can get clothes and food on his/her own if you haven't done so. Helps a lot, and gives a great ego boost as well...
Emily, WOHM to Joshua (05) River (08) HBAC, Rylee (09) HBAC and Levi (coming 8/11) planning another HBAC
(yes I'm freaking out but soo excited, too )
My oldest will be 6 in a few days and my youngest just turned 2.
I have *heard* that the transition from 2-3 is easier than 1-2. I'm holding onto that. 1-2 just about did me in. I'm still recovering, 2 years later.
This is #4 for us - but I wanted to say that my #3 came along similarly spaced as the OP's and everything worked out fine. The three are great friends now (ages 5,4 & 18mos), and the two older ones have really enjoyed helping to take care of the younger one. You'll love it!
Congrats on your number 4!
Jesus loving, wife to my sweet love of 11 years , ,,, ,baby-wearing,,, ,mama to dd , ds1 , ds2 ,ds3 one on the way !
My own children are all going to be nearly 4 years apart, so it makes for some good helpers
I'm honestly not too worried about it - I hope I'm not eating my words! I think it's always a learning curve, yk? We'll all wonder how we THOUGHT we were busy with only 2, yk?
Julia(34), Mommy to: Maddie(10), Grace(6), Charlotte (3) and our only Little Man (due 2/23).
It's a crazy life!
