Well ladies, I haven't been on much the last few weeks because things were not looking good. My baby wasn't growing appropriately and had a slow heart rate. I lost the baby this Monday so I will be leaving this DDC.

I am deeply saddened at the loss of my baby and the fact that this is my 3rd loss in total, 2nd in a row. I will be getting some testing done before we try again to ensure that I don't have any medical issues going on causing this to happen. It amazes me that I was able to have two healthy children and now this. I am older, but still young (33), so I hope my age is not playing a factor in things.

Anyways, I wanted to formally say good bye, though I am sure I will still be around MDC somewhere. And... wish everyone a very safe/healthy pregnacy!! Can't wait to check back in for baby pictures later this year.
Babies are truely a miracle!!!

Big hugs mama!! I am sorry for your loss- and two in a row must be so hard.

I think loss at this stage (I'm 11 weeks or so) would be very hard to bear. I mean, it must always be hard but harder now, being the second trimester is in sight.

My sweet yoga teacher loves my kids and said 'oh you have to have another- are you going to get pg soon?!' and I said 'we'll see.... each one is such an amazing miracle, I never take any stage for granted.' I really believe that- just getting pregnant is such a truly amazing thing....

Anywho, I digress and I hope everything goes okay for you. I'm 32 with two kids also.

Megan~ mama to Cecilia (9/1/04) Carl (11/19/06) Vivian (9/10/09) & spring 2011 baby.
